ITU V.23

The algorithm implemented is the ITU-T V.23 modem recommendation transmitting data at rates of up to 1 200 bps. V.23 is a Frequency Shift Keyed (FSK) modem. It is Full-Duplex when it operates with a 75 bps backwards channel.

V.23 operates at mean frequencies of 1,500±200 Hz and 1,700±400 Hz, on respective forward channels, 600 bps and 1 200 bps. The V.23, 75 bps, backwards channel has a mean frequency of 420Hz±30 Hz. Binary 0 is represented by the higher frequency.

This product has been developed and shipped by SIGNALS+SOFTWARE on a number of platforms previously, both standalone and as part of a complete solution, and would be available customized to meet specific requirements.
